Are you the type of person that takes things seriously all the time? Well, que sera, sera! It’s time to create some funny personal goals that will make your life feel joyful again.
Goal setting and reaching milestones are always at the forefront of everyone’s minds. While this isn’t a bad thing, it’s not the best way to carry on through life either.
We’ve all met people who are insanely successful and hyper focused on their goals. They usually excel and accomplish everything they want in life, but when you ask them what their biggest regrets are…it’s usually time.
Odd, right?
Goal oriented people that are highly successful often miss out on the small moments that matter. They work long hours and don’t balance work and play.
People miss family gatherings, weddings, game nights, date nights, a baby’s first steps, and random walks in the park because they don’t prioritize them.
By the time successful people achieve their personal goals, they’re left looking down from a mountain top alone. There aren’t many memories to look back on when you don’t take the time out to create them.
The best thing about becoming successful is having others to share your success with. Who wants to win without a team to share the love and wealth with?
Some things we deem unimportant are actually valuable for building character, gaining wisdom, and developing life skills we may not get any other way.
Self-satisfaction is an end goal, too.
What are some things you’d like to pursue or do while you’re down here on Earth that others would frown on?
Guess what? No one cares. Your life is yours to live. We all have strange interests and things we are curious about that may seem odd – and that’s okay!
Don’t miss out on the quirky activities, hobbies, and things that make you laugh for fear of judgment.
Insert some humor into the monthly goals you set.

What are some fun goals for life?
Fun goals for life will vary based on your personal interests and sense of humor.
It doesn’t take much to get a laugh out of me and I’m still a big kid at heart.
One of my funny personal goals is to go with a group of friends to an old school carnival at night that’s open only to us. No long lines and all the popcorn and cotton candy that we can eat.
Take me back to the early 1990s, please.
Some other fun goals in life I’ve set are to attend a silent party event (hilariousness at it’s finest, trust me when I tell ya’), learn how to skate backwards, double backflip on a trampoline, build a human size dollhouse in my backyard, frame a completed 1,000 piece puzzle, and dress up as a school mascot at my child’s pep rally.
Try making a list of the funny personal goals you have for yourself.
As a Harry Potter fan, I want to travel to every Wizarding World that exists across the globe before I get too old. Many people call me a Potterhead, and I recently learned that it’s quite accurate.
I have all the hardcover books in their original cover design. The only thing missing is my wand collection. Yes, this is a funny personal goal of mine, and I feel no shame about it!
Molly Ringwald’s ‘Pretty In Pink’ is 80s nostalgia gold; from the hot pink Volkswagen, vinyl record collection, and fashionable style, nothing but the classics. I want to throw a ‘Pretty in Pink’ inspired birthday party.
You can’t tell me this won’t be a blast!
